About the course
This double degree lets you study law and biomedical science together, combining legal training with a strong grounding in human health and disease. You’ll develop practical legal skills through real-world experiences and learn laboratory and analytical methods used in biomedical research. The course prepares you for roles where law and health science intersect, including regulation, compliance, research, policy and specialist legal practice in biomedical contexts at bachelor level.

Graduates can pursue careers spanning legal practice and biomedical sectors. Potential pathways include solicitor or barrister, and roles such as legal advisor or analyst in corporate, health, research or community settings. You may also work in government policy and regulation, or move into biomedical careers such as medical scientist, researcher, molecular biologist, biochemist, pharmacologist, microbiologist or biotechnologist.
