About the course
This interdisciplinary extended major combines human sciences with data analytics to help you investigate complex biological and societal challenges. You’ll build capability in working with large datasets and interpreting evidence across genetics, ecology, culture and health-related contexts, preparing you to apply quantitative insights to real-world problems. This is an undergraduate extended major at UWA within science-focused study. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles where biological and human-centred questions require data-driven insight, including research assistance, data and analytics support, health and population analytics, and roles in government, consulting or not-for-profits.
