About the course
This course focuses on analysing and designing business information systems, combining organisational and technical perspectives. You’ll build skills across areas such as databases, knowledge management, multimedia, information security and emerging business technologies, with practical application throughout. Electives can broaden business capability, and the Co-operative Model includes mandatory career development and a minimum of 60 days paid industry placement in IT & Computer Science at bachelor level.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that bridge business needs and IT solutions, supporting analysis, design, implementation and governance of information systems. Career options may include business analyst or business process analyst, systems analyst/designer, enterprise systems analyst, database administrator/designer, computer systems auditor, data modeller, information/data manager, e-commerce administrator, specialist consultant or management consultant. This prepares you for IT & Computer Science careers at bachelor level.
