About the course
This double degree combines human rights with a qualifying law program, focusing on ethically grounded practice and social justice. You’ll study law alongside human rights issues spanning criminal justice, history, philosophy and politics, while building strong skills in critical thinking, writing, analysis and debating. Pro bono placements from second year provide practical experience supporting marginalised communities. This is a Bachelor-level program in Law and human rights advocacy.

Graduates can pursue roles across legal practice and human rights advocacy in Australia and internationally. Career paths may include work in domestic or international advocacy, humanitarian and disaster relief services, policy and program development, and government administration. Opportunities also extend to industry regulation, communications and journalism, NGO roles, diplomacy, politics and academia.
