About the course
This degree builds knowledge in physical activity and nutrition to help address key risk factors for chronic disease. You’ll study human movement, health and nutrition with flexible course options, choosing a major or creating your own pathway. The program prepares you for a range of clinical and non-clinical health roles and can support entry into relevant postgraduate study. This is a Bachelor-level program in sports and health. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across health promotion, community and public health programs, exercise and activity initiatives, nutrition-related support roles, and policy or advocacy work in government and non-government organisations. The degree also provides a foundation for further study pathways such as dietetics, physiotherapy, medicine, occupational therapy, audiology, speech pathology, public health or sports coaching. This is a Bachelor-level pathway into sports and health careers.
