About the course
This undergraduate specialisation builds knowledge in human genetics and genomics as a focused set of four units alongside your degree. You’ll develop foundational skills in identifying human chromosomes, understanding the molecular basis of genetic traits and diseases, and working with genetic and genomic information. The specialisation also introduces using online databases and specialist software to source and interpret genomic data within a biomedical context. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
