About the course
The Bachelor of Health Sciences provides a broad grounding in the health sector, with opportunities to focus on areas such as ageing, health management, health promotion or innovation. You’ll build knowledge of how health systems work and develop skills suited to non-clinical and allied health pathways. Study is available in person at Bedford Park or City and also online, with practical experience options included in the degree. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue diverse roles across health care and related organisations, particularly in non-clinical settings. Typical opportunities include health program coordinator roles, project and service support positions, and research assistant/officer pathways that contribute to evidence-based practice and health policy.
