About the course
This accredited double degree prepares you for professional practice in occupational therapy, focusing on how occupation supports health and wellbeing for individuals and communities. You’ll build foundational health science knowledge and progress to advanced occupational therapy skills, with extensive practical learning. The course includes 1,000 hours of supervised practice education and supported placement opportunities, including regional, rural and remote settings. This is an undergraduate pathway into Occupational Therapy.
Career outcome
Graduates may work as occupational therapists across a wide range of health and community settings. Employment pathways include public and private hospitals, community health centres, aged care, paediatrics, education and disability services, mental health, alcohol and drug services, and private practice. Opportunities may also exist in NGOs, corrective services, government departments, corporate and industrial workplaces, universities and research. This is an undergraduate qualification leading to Occupational Therapy careers.
