About the course
This Honours year provides an additional fourth year of study for graduates of an undergraduate health-related degree. You will develop foundational research training and demonstrate research potential through a supervised project, building skills in designing, executing and communicating health and human sciences research. Applicants are expected to discuss eligibility and supervision arrangements with the University before applying. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Health Sciences.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for entry pathways into postgraduate research degrees and roles that value applied research capability in health and human services. The course strengthens skills in identifying evidence gaps, undertaking ethical research, analysing and synthesising literature, and presenting findings—useful in clinical services, community health, policy, education and research support roles. It also supports progression toward higher degree research in the health sector. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Health Sciences.
