About the course
The Master of Critical Care Paramedicine offers registered paramedics the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills to enable them to practice at an advanced level. This course is designed to provide you with the necessary education and training for a critical care paramedic role as well as prepare you for leadership, education and research positions. The course fosters the integration of reflection, professionalism, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal communication, and patient focused care at an advanced level into all areas of clinical practice.
Career outcome
These course outcomes are aligned with the Australian Qualifications Framework level 9 and Monash Graduate Attributes. Upon successful completion of this course it is expected that students will be able to:1. demonstrate safe practice and clinically justifiable decisions based on advanced theoretical and practical knowledge and cognitive skills2. apply an appropriate ethical and professional construct as an emergency care provider to the field of community based emergency health3.
