About the course
This assured-pathway Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science explores how physical activity influences health, rehabilitation and elite performance. You’ll build foundations in anatomy and physiology, then develop applied skills such as strength and conditioning, exercise physiology and biomechanics, supported by industry practicum/internship experience. With required GPA achievement, the program provides a direct pathway into Notre Dame’s Master of Physiotherapy as a Bachelor-level sports science degree.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles supporting health, performance and rehabilitation across community and sport settings. Career directions include exercise and sports science support roles, strength and conditioning assistance, and work with athletes and sporting teams, informed by practicum experience and ESSA accreditation context. Meeting pathway requirements also positions you to progress into the Master of Physiotherapy toward physiotherapy practice, as a Bachelor-level qualification in sports science.
