About the course
The Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) prepares you for professional practice assessing, diagnosing and treating movement problems linked to joint, muscle and nerve disorders. You’ll build knowledge across physiotherapy, exercise and sport science, behavioural and community health, and biomedical sciences. The degree includes substantial supervised clinical education, with five practical placements totalling 1,040 hours and at least one rural or regional placement, supporting eligibility for physiotherapy registration.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue physiotherapy careers across hospitals and NSW Health services, private physiotherapy practices, rehabilitation and community health settings.
