About the course
This honours engineering degree focuses on the end-to-end creation of software, from strategy and design through to coding, testing, quality assurance and project management. You’ll build strong foundations in programming, algorithms, databases, operating systems and data-centric computing, and complete multidisciplinary projects plus an honours thesis. Professional engagement activities and work experience are embedded to prepare you for practice in software engineering at bachelor honours level.

Graduates can pursue roles across software and digital product development, including software engineer/developer, web developer, systems or test engineer, database programmer, software analyst, and information security specialist.
