About the course
This double degree combines interaction design and information technology to help you design and build human-centred digital experiences. You develop contemporary design capability through studio-based learning in areas like human-centred design, experience design and emerging interactive technologies, while also building practical, industry-shaped IT skills. You’ll work on real-world projects and graduate with a broad professional foundation in design and computing at bachelor level.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that bridge design and technology across creative and commercial sectors such as digital products, advertising, education, gaming, government and startups. Career options include UX/UI or interaction designer, interactive media designer, usability specialist, information architect, web/mobile app designer, experience or service designer, and roles supporting human-computer interaction and product development. Outcomes align with bachelor-level careers in design and IT.
