About the course
This Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Materials Engineering) explores how metals, polymers, ceramics and composites are developed and applied to solve real engineering problems. You’ll build decision-making and problem-solving skills for materials selection, processing and performance across diverse applications. The major includes a mandatory 450-hour industrial placement to support Engineers Australia professional engineer accreditation in materials-focused engineering. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
