About the course
This combined degree develops engineering capability alongside legal knowledge, preparing you to work at the intersection of technology, regulation and society. You study core mathematics and computing, multidisciplinary project work, stream-specific engineering units and an honours thesis, while completing foundational law units and progressing into the LLB component. You also complete professional engagement activities and work experience as part of the Professional Engagement Program.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue professional pathways in engineering or law, or roles that bridge both fields. Career options include engineering practice informed by regulation and compliance, technology and infrastructure policy, risk and governance, intellectual property and technology law, contract and project advisory, and roles in government, consulting and industry. The combined Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree supports careers across engineering sectors and legal services.
