About the course
This double degree combines honours-level engineering with rigorous mathematics to strengthen your ability to model, analyse and design solutions to complex real-world problems. You’ll complete two qualifications in five years, choose an engineering major, and build advanced quantitative capability across applied and computational maths, operations research or statistics. The programme integrates design-focused learning and a capstone project in engineering at bachelor honours level.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that blend engineering practice with advanced quantitative analysis, working on complex systems, modelling and optimisation problems. Career paths may include professional engineer roles (depending on major), systems and operations analyst, modelling and simulation specialist, data/quantitative analyst, or decision science roles across infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, government and consulting. This bachelor honours double degree supports internationally recognised engineering practice alongside mathematics-driven problem solving.
