About the course
This degree qualifies you to teach Years 7–12 in your chosen teaching area while also completing a second teaching area (minor) to broaden employability. You’ll examine the role of education in society, build skills for managing secondary classrooms, and complete supervised school placements across the secondary years. The Bachelor of Education (Secondary Teaching) includes practical preparation and professional accreditation pathways for teaching in Education & Teaching. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.
