About the course

This double degree prepares you to teach technologies in secondary schools, combining education studies with design innovation and technologies. You’ll learn in an industry-focused environment with access to purpose-built workshops and laboratories and complete embedded school placements to build classroom-ready skills. The course supports specialisation across TAS areas including design, industrial technology, food, textiles, and computing as an undergraduate education and design-technologies qualification.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue careers teaching technologies in secondary schools across Catholic, government and independent sectors. The qualification may also support pathways into vocational and community education settings such as TAFE, private colleges and community education centres, including opportunities in special education contexts.
