About the course
The Bachelor of Education (Primary) is an initial teacher education degree preparing you to teach Prep to Grade 6. You’ll study evidence-based teaching practice, child development and behaviour, and the primary curriculum with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. The course emphasises inclusive education, wellbeing, sustainability and Indigenous perspectives, and includes 80 days of supervised professional experience. This is a four-year bachelor qualification in primary teaching.

Graduates are prepared for employment as primary school teachers across Australia, supported by an accredited program and extensive school-based placements.
