About the course
The Bachelor of Economics (Honours) is a one-year advanced undergraduate program for high-performing economics students, focused on deeper economic analysis and independent research. You’ll develop advanced quantitative and analytical skills and complete an honours-level research project under academic supervision. The degree strengthens preparation for specialist roles and further study in economics and econometrics. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue economics and analytical roles across government, central banking and policy agencies, consulting, finance, and research organisations. Typical pathways include economist or economic analyst, policy analyst, data or research analyst, and roles supporting market and industry analysis. The honours research component also supports progression to higher degree research in economics.
