About the course
Prepare for a global career in industrial design by combining a QUT design degree with a full year of international study at a partner university. You’ll explore how to design products, services and systems that improve everyday life, while building cross-cultural experience and professional networks. The course also supports industry engagement and practical learning opportunities in industrial design at bachelor level. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue industrial design roles focused on creating user-centred products, services and systems across manufacturing, consumer goods and emerging technology sectors. The international study year strengthens cultural fluency and global employability, supporting work with multidisciplinary teams and international clients. Career paths may include industrial/product designer, design consultant, service or experience design roles, and related design innovation positions at bachelor level.
