About the course
The Bachelor of Design at UNSW builds strong creative and technical foundations for contemporary design practice. You’ll develop skills in design thinking, visual communication and making, supported by studio-based learning and critique. The program encourages experimentation and a user-focused approach to solving real-world problems. This is an undergraduate design degree within Design & Visual Art. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across creative industries and organisations that use design to shape products, services and experiences. Typical paths include graphic/visual communication design, digital and interaction design, UX/UI, brand and content design, and design roles in agencies, startups or in-house teams.
