This double degree course allows you to develop knowledge of the major design disciplines, together with theories and practices associated with fine art. You will gain an understanding of the interdisciplinary connections between these two rich fields and you will be positioned to advance your creative career, or pursue further fine art or design postgraduate education.The double degree offers a practice-led program of education in design and fine art that will empower you with the analytical and critical thinking skills required for a changing world.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue creative roles across design studios, arts organisations and digital media environments, applying skills in design thinking, visual communication and contemporary art practice. Depending on the pathway, opportunities may include graphic or communication design, interaction or motion design, branding, publication design, spatial/creative production roles, or independent fine art practice and exhibitions. This double Bachelor degree supports careers spanning design and visual art industries.
