About the course
This double degree combines theology and philosophy to build broad liberal-arts capability alongside deep study of two foundational disciplines. You will explore ideas shaping Western civilisation and engage with questions of faith, knowledge, identity and values, strengthening critical thinking and communication. Global experience options include study abroad and tours, and an integrated capstone unit introduces research pathways. It is a Bachelor-level program in humanities.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue diverse roles where analysis, ethical reasoning and communication are valued. Career paths include academia and research, journalism and writing, ethics consultancy (including bioethics and healthcare ethics), public policy, and church-related work such as chaplaincy, ministry and pastoral roles. The degree can also support pathways into education, curriculum design or psychology with further study in humanities. Preparing graduates for graduate employment, professional traineeships, and further postgraduate study.
