About the course
Crime is a complex phenomena, which requires it to be viewed from various perspectives. In a joint-venture with Victoria Police, the Bachelor of Criminology and Policing is the only course of its kind in Victoria. Providing you with an opportunity to achieve a university degree while facilitating a pathway to employment with Victoria Police, the Bachelor of Criminology and Policing is a three-year course which provides you with core studies in criminology and policing. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles linked to policing and criminal justice, including pathways toward employment with Victoria Police (subject to application and selection). The broader criminology focus also supports work in justice and community safety agencies, policy and program development, crime prevention, and research or analytical roles across government and related organisations. This is a three-year Bachelor degree preparing graduates for criminology and policing careers. Preparing graduates for human resources support, community services, and psychology-related graduate pathways.
