About the course

Develop acting skills for stage, screen and emerging digital media through intensive practical training and performance opportunities. You’ll build technique in voice, speech, movement, character and script analysis, supported by industry links, specialist coaches and professional production environments. Study in QUT’s Creative Industries Precinct with access to drama and screen facilities, while tailoring your degree with electives or an additional major in Performing Arts.

Prepare for portfolio careers across theatre, film, television and new media, supported by practical production experience and industry-connected training. Graduates may pursue work as screen or stage actors, performers in independent productions, or develop complementary pathways in creative leadership, directing, producing and script-related roles. The course also builds entrepreneurial skills for self-promotion and showreel development for a Bachelor-level pathway in Performing Arts.
