About the course
This one-year stand-alone Honours degree builds advanced capability in business, government and public policy with a focus on contemporary governance and applied research. You’ll deepen disciplinary knowledge and undertake a substantial Honours project supported by academic supervision. Study is on campus at UC’s Bruce campus within the Canberra School of Government. This is a Bachelor Honours qualification in business and government policy. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for policy and governance-focused roles that require analytical and research capability, including positions in government agencies, public sector consulting, policy evaluation, and stakeholder or program coordination. The Honours year can also support progression to further research study. Outcomes align with work in government, non-government organisations and advisory services.
