About the course
The Diploma of Business is a one-year pathway program designed to build foundational academic and business skills for further university study. Delivered through SCU College with embedded learning support and additional online resources, it prepares students for success in undergraduate business education. On completion, you are guaranteed entry and can receive up to eight units of credit toward Southern Cross University’s Bachelor of Business. The programme introduces business operations, customer service, and administrative leadership for commercial workplaces.
Career outcome
This diploma provides an entry-level foundation for work in a range of business settings while preparing you for further study. Skills developed can support roles in administrative and junior coordination functions across offices, customer service, and small business operations. Graduates may pursue entry roles while progressing into the Southern Cross University Bachelor of Business to expand opportunities in management, marketing, finance and broader commerce careers.
