About the course
This dual honours program combines economics and law to build strong analytical, modelling and forecasting skills alongside a sophisticated understanding of legal systems and practice. You’ll learn to apply statistical and policy tools to real decision-making challenges for business and government, while developing practical legal skills and ethical, socially responsible judgement. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in economics and law at UQ. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for careers spanning economics, public policy and the legal profession. Opportunities include economic or policy analyst roles in government and international agencies, consulting and corporate strategy, plus pathways into legal practice and advisory work.
