About the course
This combined degree lets you graduate with two qualifications in four years: a Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics and Economics (with the PPE Extended Major) and a Bachelor of Arts with your choice of major. You’ll build interdisciplinary knowledge across philosophy, politics and economics alongside broad arts study, strengthening critical thinking, analysis and communication. It’s designed to keep options open and supports exiting with one degree if needed. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates gain strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills suited to roles that require understanding complex social, political and economic issues. Career paths include public policy and government, diplomacy and international affairs, consulting, politics, and media or journalism with an economic/political focus. The combined Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics and Economics and Bachelor of Arts supports diverse careers across public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Preparing graduates for business analyst, management trainee, marketing, and operations entry-level roles.
