About the course
This combined bachelor’s degree lets you graduate with two qualifications in four years: a Bachelor of Agricultural Science with a defined study plan, and a Bachelor of Arts where you choose a major from many options. You’ll build agricultural science capability alongside communication and critical thinking skills. The structure also offers flexibility to exit one degree and complete the other, within an undergraduate Agriculture Science focus. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates combine practical agricultural science expertise with strong communication and research capabilities, supporting work across industry and the public sector. Career pathways include roles in consultancies, NGOs and government departments and agencies, with opportunities in areas such as agricultural advice, scientific and conservation work, policy and planning, public relations, and sustainability. Entry requirements
Minimum ATAR 80. Prerequisites include Mathematics Methods ATAR or Mathematics Applications ATAR (with a first-year mathematics unit), and Chemistry ATAR (or a first-year chemistry unit).
