About the course
The Bachelor of Agriculture develops knowledge and applied problem-solving to support productive and sustainable farming systems. You’ll build a foundation across key agricultural areas and learn to analyse real-world challenges affecting crops, livestock and land management. Study can be undertaken on campus or online, with learning designed to connect agriculture science to industry needs through practical, career-focused preparation at bachelor level. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across agriculture and related industries, including agronomy and cropping support, livestock and production enterprise operations, horticulture, landcare and sustainability coordination, and agritech. Opportunities also extend to agribusiness services such as banking, consultancy, marketing, trading and logistics, as well as government policy and industry analysis. Careers span public and private sectors in management, consulting and applied research within agriculture at bachelor level.
