About the course
Agribusiness explores the business side of the full food and fibre value chain, from production and financing through processing and marketing. You’ll study how agriculture-based enterprises operate and respond to changing global demand, sustainability pressures and population growth. This undergraduate major is designed for on-campus study at UWA, building commercial and industry-relevant skills for the agrifood sector. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers across the agrifood and fibre industries, applying business skills to production, processing and supply chains. Opportunities may include roles in agribusiness management, farm and resource operations, agricultural marketing and sales, commodity and supply-chain coordination, and advisory or policy support.
