Should I visit a University/Institution before commencing my studies?

AUG recommends the following methods for students to experience a school:

• Study Tour
  AUG organises study tours twice a year to bring high school students around top universities across the world. We hope that it will be more than a sight-seeing tour but also to broaden the horizons and encourage students to take part in character building activities.
• Experiential programs
  Many institutions such as Trinity College designs programs for students to explore career streams and participate in projects led by industry professionals.
• Individual Tour around Universities/Institutions
  We can arrange for you to have a general tour of the school facilities and meet staff members. Furthermore, you may be able to have a meeting with members of the specific faculty you or your child wishes to study in.

The above programs will give you better access to school facilities, student services, accommodation and academic staff members.

If you find those options too expensive, you can consider meeting the university representative in your home country. AUG organizes complimentary education fairs where representatives from all across the world come down to provide information for students.
