1. What is the cost of studying abroad?

The costs of studying abroad will differ, depending on your country, course, lifestyle, etc. For a rough guide, you can check out the following article to have an estimate of the expenses you may incur in each country.

2. How do I save money when studying abroad?

Studying abroad can be expensive; there are many scholarships and financial aid services available for you to apply. In addition to that, you can:

  • Share accommodation and rent with friends
  • Home-cook most of your meals and avoid eating out
  • Consider purchasing a concession travel card
  • Find a casual/part-time job

3. What scholarships am I eligible for?

There are 1 million dollars’ worth of scholarship to be awarded globally. Depending on the university you are studying in, you may be eligible for various different scholarships. You can check out the list of scholarships available here.

4. How long do study abroad courses last?

Without any credit exemptions, a bachelor’s degree would typically last for 3-4 years. Normally, a master’s degree would last for 1.5-2.5 years and a PhD would take 3.5 years.

5. When can I start applying for study abroad courses?

Right now! The application process can seem like a tedious and lengthy one; you should start to prepare for your application 6 months in advance. To make this process smooth, you can speak to any of our advisors.

6. Where should I live during my stay overseas?

You can consider on-campus or off-campus accommodation for your duration of study overseas. There are many options available for each university and your decision should revolve around the type of lifestyle you want to experience.

7. Can I work while studying abroad?

Yes, you can! Studying abroad can be expensive and finding a job is a great way to help with those expenses. Possessing industry related experience would make your CV stand out and boost your employability after you graduate. Generally speaking, most countries allow you to work for a maximum of 40 hours a fortnight when your course of study is in session.

8. What is the process of applying to a university?

Applying to a university may seem daunting. To make the process smoother, you can:

  • Do some research about the country, university and courses you want to study
  • Choose a course and apply to the university
  • Apply for a Visa and health check-ups (if needed)
  • Acceptance of offer
