Overview

Established in 1962, the Canterbury Christ Church University (Canterbury) has been providing education which makes a real and positive difference to people’s lives. Committed to transform individuals, create knowledge, enrich communities, and build a sustainable future, they envision their impacts reaching into the community for their students to understand and commit to the challenges facing society.

With a longstanding reputation for high quality teacher education and development, academic staff are experts in their field and committed to equipping students with the skills they need for life. The University is currently being updated as part of a £150 million investment programme. A new arts building was completed in September 2016, which will be followed in 2020 by a new home for courses in Science, Engineering, Technology and Health.
