About the course
UWA’s Doctor of Social Work is a research-based, research-driven doctoral programme for qualified social workers seeking advanced professional development. It builds high-level research capability and supports candidates to investigate complex social issues and practice challenges, producing work that can inform policy and professional practice. The degree is an on-campus doctoral qualification in sociology and social work. The programme develops research expertise in human behaviour, psychological measurement, and evidence-based intervention design.
