About the course
This international double master's program enables you to complete the requirements of the Monash Master of International Development Practice as well as a second degree with Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). You will study at Monash University in Australia and at the partner university. On successful completion of the academic program at Monash and the academic program at the partner university, students will be eligible to graduate with the degrees from both institutions, awarded separately. Equitable and sustainable human development remains a pressing global concern.
Career outcome
Graduates may work across international development and social justice fields in Australia and globally. Typical pathways include roles with local or international NGOs, aid and development agencies, human rights advocacy organisations, government and policy settings, social enterprise, corporate social responsibility teams and community organisations. Opportunities may also extend to universities and international institutions such as UN agencies, the World Bank and the International Organization for Migration, in master’s-level development practice roles.
