About the course
Deakin’s Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) provides advanced training in clinical psychology grounded in the scientist-practitioner model. You will integrate theory, clinically applied research and supervised practice, including multiple compulsory placements in public mental health and community agencies. The course develops assessment, intervention and reflective practice skills, and includes an independent thesis project supervised by experienced academics and clinicians. This is a doctoral qualification in Psychology.
