Flinders’ Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law is a research degree where you undertake independent, original research in a legal area that can influence change and impact lives. You will build advanced capability in legal research, critical thinking, legal writing, communication and project management, supported by expert supervision and an active research culture. This is a doctoral research qualification in Law. The programme develops legal research methodology, scholarly writing, and critical analysis for advanced professional and academic legal practice.

This PhD can support careers both inside and outside the courtroom, leveraging deep expertise in a legal specialty.
