About the course
The Doctor of Philosophy (Information Science) is a research degree where you undertake an original investigation under expert supervision and contribute new knowledge to your field. You’ll join UOW’s research community, develop advanced research skills, and produce a thesis for examination, with options for on-campus or distance study. This PhD builds specialist capability in information science and related computing disciplines. The programme advances scientific inquiry through supervised laboratory or field research, data analysis, and thesis-based discovery.
