Federation University’s Doctor of Philosophy is a higher degree by research where you develop and complete a substantial, original research project under the guidance of an expert supervisory team. You’ll build advanced critical understanding at the frontier of knowledge and demonstrate independent research capability through a thesis (or creative works with exegesis). Research in this program is undertaken within the broad area of engineering at PhD level. The programme applies rigorous engineering research methods to address complex technical challenges and advance sustainable innovation.
