About the course
A supervised Higher Degree by Research in Education, completed through a thesis or folio. You will undertake an original research project with guidance from academic staff, develop and defend your proposal in an oral colloquium partway through candidature, and produce a final thesis presenting your findings. This PhD builds advanced research capability in Education & Teaching. The programme supports education-focused research in pedagogy, curriculum, and learning sciences through supervised thesis work.
