About the course
This course combines the coursework and placement requirements of the Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology with the thesis requirements of the PhD. It is an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited fifth and sixth year sequence in psychology. Enrolment will be probationary with full admission to the course granted in the last three months of the second year of full-time study, or equivalent for part-time study, if performance on all components, including research confirmation proceedings, is satisfactory.

Typical pathways include educational and developmental psychologist roles (subject to registration requirements), and positions in schools, child and adolescent services, community and health settings, disability and developmental services, government and policy, and university or institute research.
