About the course
This pathway outlines how to qualify as a secondary teacher at UWA, typically by completing a three-year bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline followed by the Master of Teaching (Secondary). You’ll build professional knowledge through theory and real classroom practice and develop communication and technical skills to plan, evaluate and deliver effective learning. The Secondary School Teaching Pathways option provides a structured route into secondary teaching in Education & Teaching. The programme develops academic skills and education fundamentals for teaching-related degree pathways.
