About the course
The Catholic Education Stream (BPriEd) is a set of aligned education units that can be taken within selected Curtin teaching degrees. It supports students who want to develop knowledge and capabilities relevant to Catholic schooling contexts while completing an undergraduate teacher education program. The stream is available within Curtin’s Bachelor of Education pathways in Education & Teaching. The programme develops education knowledge and teaching-related skills aligned with its qualification level.
Career outcome
This stream complements an undergraduate initial teacher education degree and can help prepare you for teaching and professional practice in Catholic school settings. Combined with an eligible Bachelor of Education, it can support pathways into primary, secondary or early childhood teaching roles and related school-based work, with an added focus on Catholic education contexts.
