About the course

This undergraduate stream expands students’ content knowledge in Chemistry while developing pedagogical approaches for teaching Chemistry to learners of different ages and ability levels. It is studied as a set of units within the Bachelor of Education (Secondary Education) and supports preparation for secondary classroom practice through discipline-focused study and teaching methods in Chemistry education. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.
