About the course
This half-day, face-to-face intensive workshop is designed for SET trainees (or those considering applying) to deepen surgical anatomy knowledge of the brain and spinal cord. Teaching focuses on anatomy as it relates to operative procedures and supports preparation for Part 1 and 2 examinations. Learning is delivered through interactive small-group skill stations using intraoperative images, radiology examples and prosected human specimens in a specialist medical training context. The programme develops health sciences knowledge and practice skills aligned with its qualification level.
