About the course

In this Graduate Certificate course, you will develop particular expertise in anthropology, social sciences, criminology as well as international community development within your choice of 4 units. Upon successful completion, you may transfer to the Graduate Diploma and subsequently enrol in the Masters degree with half a year of credits (if applicable).

What you might learn

During the course, you will enrol into subjects such as social theories including entrepreneurship and innovation, participatory research in globalisation and social movements. This will enable you to build on skills from your previous studies or enhance your skills in your current employment.

Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as police officer, community corrections officer, youth justice officer, juvenile/ fmaily counsellor, parole officer, family law case officer, and etc. in companies including United Nations, Red Cross, Centrelink, Department of Human Services, Salvation Army, and etc.
